Hi everyone I'm Kevin Murray and the beautiful lady in the picture is not my daughter it's my wife of 17 years. Isn't that GREAT! We have been married just a little longer than I have been the pastor of Emmanuel. Johnna and I moved to Piggott in August of 1994. This is the only church that we have served in that I have been the pastor. That's pretty cool to be at one church this long. We are asking God to make it longer and longer and longer. We now have 3 boys and this is all they know so they are praying for a long stay as well.

  I was raised up in Marmaduke Arkansas where I graduated in 1985 and from there I ended up at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge where I got my wife and then my degree. (I had to have my priorities in order. I knew my education would wait but I wasn't sure about Johnna.) Those were great times for the both of us we loved our time at Williams. While we were at Williams I was the student pastor at First Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge and baseball coach at the college.

  Coming to Emmanuel has been the Greatest spiritual thing to happen to me in my life. Over the past 12 years we have experienced so many God moments and they continue to happen. Time will not allow me to write them all down so I will only mention a few of them. First I am so blessed to have been able to see so many people give their life to Christ at this church including all 3 of our children. Second being able to be apart of such a giving bunch of people has increased my faith in what God can do. I will close by saying that if you are looking for a church the greatest part of Emmanuel has nothing to do with the people who are in it, but has everything to do with the fact that the spirit of God is in this place. Come see for yourself! I love this place and we love you.
